Born in 1959, Wolfgang Merle studied business and administration focusing on marketing and trade at the University Göttingen. Postdoc he has been working for well known and distinguished brands: from 1991 until 1998 in marketing and advertisement for the Otto group Hamburg, from 1999 until 2002 as the director of the fashion distributor ZARA and Massimo Dutti, from 2002 until 2007 as marketing director at the Galeria Kaufhof department stores in Cologne, and, as of 2007, as the director of corporate marketing at Tchibo in Hamburg.

Through his work, he contributes his expertise in all things concerning strategic and competitively differentiating positioning, as well as efficient marketing and communication strategies - a know-how that will enhance millionways’ abilities to create connections between people and ideas.
